x'mas gathering/gift exchange on the 26th!

i have no idea who will turn up until the moment we reached Turf City, 7 was the sum for our head count =.=
nonetheless, big smiles and grins were plastered on my face upon seeing the girls and guys :)


bottom: nuan's legs were freaking fair lol.


zh is really good for nothing.

as the guys were busy running to and fro, getting all kinds of food on plates for everyone else, this hungry ghost had already activated his hands and mouth with butt glued on the chair zzz!
on top of that, it was already made known that gift exchange will be hold that day. how could you come empty handed?! *$@!#$$^$%^^#%#;%#


taking a break before food were aimlessly stuffed into our mouths.





in the midst of our feast, we decided to commence our gift exchange.

drawing lots.

in case you wonder how did it go about,
6 of us(excluding zh) picked the numbers in random paper scraps: 1, 1, 2, 2, 3, 3
so ultimately #1 would have to exchange with #1, so on and so forth.

lastly, joe was the lucky man cos he got to exchange with me hahahaha!

that was my second step to the unwrapping of his lameshit LOL.
he specially, with GREAT THOUGHT AND EFFORT, cut and paste Obama's handsome face on the pressie. without fail, i sweared as i peeled the never ending newspapers,
yelling "dont tell me it's a photo frame hor! or else im gonna hit you with that HAHA!"

seriously who on earth will wanna receive a photo frame?! it's my no.1 hate gift la :D

anw, it was a notebook and he got an all-time-fav choco from me!
okay very uncreative but that's the safest way you see.

the entire day to us was simply agony.

well, some side track moments.
but that was extremely essential because 3 of us were almost suffocated by the frustration and helplessness faced throughout the hours.
to the extend where we started to argue among ourselves, and ridiculous enough we were argueing about different topic omg.




thermo test this morning, i have no comment.
im currently in a grouchy, cranky mood. temperamental times.
feeling frustrated about early wake-ups, lethargy, dueing projects, THE 2 GOD DAMN HUMONGOUS ULCERS THAT SOON GONNA MERGE INTO ONE, and some retarded stuffs.

not a very good start of the day
when a tornado-liked storm greeted me as i swung open my door, followed by a strong gust of wind that totally flipped my well parted hair all over my face =.=


nobody welcomes today, as well as the rest of the term.
understandable when all the tests were lined up for us, accompanied by a pathetic short break again before our final MST arrives
and TADAAA! year two students here we are!




there have been quite some happenings lately.
relevant photos werent gathered spells the reason for my lack of update.
erm as well as something for me to inform/declare, or rather share
which... got me a lil tongue twistered. dont know how or where to begin with. haha

first of all,
MERRY X'MAS TO ALL CHRISTIANS AND EARTHINGS OUT THERE!!!


i dont usually celebrate this occasion in the past 10years or so, partly because im a free thinker, so x'mas day to me is just like another public holiday.
however, i do vividly remember having a mini x'mas tree in my old apartment. it was... decked with fanciful decorations such as the lightings and balls or whatever you name that. when my living room's lights were switched off, the whole corner glowed romantically lovely.
and that was during my early primary school time, a pleasant impression of x'mas ;)


recent years, i can hardly recollect any gathering with friends and we dont even have gifts exchange haha. let's see...
last last x'mas: i stayed at home, i msn-ed with gh, i gave it a miss to pool-ing with bros.
last x'mas: i stayed at home again to recuperate after the end of my work course at Robinsons.
this year: IM STILL STAYING AT HOME to rot my day through with sis.

you see the reason why this day means nothing more than a public holiday to me?


of cos i still like the idea of x'mas celebration. afterall it's a wonderful season of giving :)

well on a random note,
later on when my mom returns from work she'll be making tang yuan with me! YAY make and eat tang yuan on x'mas day this is so cool =.= rights, at least it's gonna differentiate my x'mas this year from the rest of the years.

oh ya, last night Starhub's network was a total madness. for one message to be send out, i've to press "send again" for umpteen times. highest record so far is 20over times.

and my x'mas this year is indeed different/special to me, especially on x'mas eve.



gonna side track a lil, update on yesterday.


RP's having holiday too, sis's so free!
both of us are lonely people thus we decided to go shopping at green-line-area. i mean IMM and JP, er isit south or east or west? tsk nvm.
shopping again, but i can explain this!!!
sis was the one who wanted to continue her clothes hunting,
i was just... accompanying alright heee.

anw, we brunch-ed @ Mos burger ; IMM, eccentric incident occured.
sis ordered only a set meal as we were not that hungry, moreover i craved for their thick and fleshy fries and sis craved for the fish burger. she returned to our seat and mentioned
"they say they today dont have fries..."
HUH? what do you mean by DONT HAVE? it's not that you dont have chili sauce or mayonise, it's FRIES LEI! sadded :(


okay back to it, we travelled to JP and the newly open JP2. it's interlinked btw.
basically it's HUGE, alot of known shops as well as new shops and seriously restaurants, fast food restaurants, finger bites stalls are appearing every corner.

planned to pass ww her pressie, loads of complications in between okay it's my fault.
sorry to both ww and my sis.
shall fix another proper date with you guys before all these stuffs are coated with dusts.


it wasnt productive for my sis, we headed back to wdls to buy our necessities and that wrapped up our x'mas eve.



while later part of the night, i was simply surprised, elated, shocked, nervous, and some other jumbled up feelings haha.
i know im always saying thank you to you, but the effort and present were really my best x'mas gift. THANK YOU KL! :D








time flies, this is our last week of holiday zzz.
the approaching deadlines of sickening projects are ruthlessly drilling into my skull, giving me headaches.
my class gathering/gift exchange is just tml, frankly speaking i've met none of my classmates, not even nuan or verony during the break. gonna have loads to catch up ya?
nuan's coming over to my house tml afternoon for our pathetic crs which everything has yet to be done T.T

SAWA DIKAAAA! IM SAFE AND SOUND BACK IN A WHOLE COMPLETE PIECE!!! :D

yes yes i've returned to the arms of my homeland around 11plus in the evening yesterday. almost missed our flight back, credits to my mom =.=
anw, Bangkok was quite an awesome place if you're talking about SHOPPING!!! OMG!
will fill you guys in in my subsequent posting.


on my departure day.


a BIG and LOUD THANK YOU to you-know-who who left messages on my tagboard, smses, msn or even rang to say takecare minutes before i entered the gate to board the plane :)

my bros, you guys girls were adorable when it comes to sentimental words, i've heard it all over the phone!
nuan, im so apologetic towards you cos the timing you called was just not right(i was steps away from the plane), resulted to the sudden cut-off.

yup, very much appreciated ;)))

jinger! i saw your sisandherfriends since checking in, boarding plane, on plane, in Bangkok's terminal and in the shopping centre over there LOL.
obviously we took the same plane, anw i guess she dont recognize me even tho she did glance at me a few times when we sort of bumped into each other everywhere haha.


during the flight.

my second time travelling by aeroplane, as usual the uneasiness and fear.
you know... once you're on it your fate will entirely depend on the pilots, as well as the aircraft then if there's any mishap(TOUCHWOOD) ya that's it im done omgggggggggggggg.

so when it started to take off, we kept looking at each other with worriment and frowns, even after it was on steady movement. any slight jerk will cause us to fidget around zzz.
conversely for the flight back, everyone's snoring like choo choo train lol.


2 gruesome hours later...


our hotel: Bangkok City Inn.

we freaking cant get to sleep on the first night!
i think i had insomnia because i dont have my XXXXX with me, miss her dearlyyyyyy :(

im getting sian now, dont feel like going into details LOL.

eh sorry for interuption, some points to make.
the weather over there was nice. windy and cooling throughout.
HOWEVER, the air pollution should be the worse i've ever experienced. biggest factor should be their insane traffic, horrendous to the extend that if you were to rub your nose with tissue paper, the mucus and stuffs are gonna be grey or black in colour :S


shopping on the move yo~

second day was the start of our splurge, that shopping centre was just like a paradise. bags, accessories, all sorts of dresses shirts tops whatever you can think of. almost all at wholesale price.

we totally went on and on like nobody's business for a solid 10hours in the 6 levels mall, made payment as and when something caught your attention, basically the buys were constant omg! shall not disclose how much i've spend on this trip, hehe.


not forgetting pressies, the process of hunting stuffs for my dear bros and friends was splitting my head into 2. or 3 or 4.
only then had i realized that i dont have much understanding to their likings, damn. wanted to buy this yet couldnt be sure if they'll like it or not, no wonder my sis kept complaining that im indecisive and fickle minded lol.

food wise, very much of a time we settled it along their roadside stalls.
those seafood and all, acceptable and tasty. strange enough they dont serve normal drinks like green tea or milo but only beer/alcoholic drinks and gassy drinks like pepsi zzz. sis and i were like buying bottles and bottles of mineral water from roadside stalls now and then.

on a lighter note, the hotel we were staying provided breakfast every morning from 6 to 10(thailand time) served in a buffet style. i like! the bread, sausages and eggs :)


last day, before our departure.

yes, those post-war liked scenes show part of our buys.
had a pretty hard time stuffing and pushing the items into the exta bag we brought along.

guess my mom's the ultimate winner cos amazingly she purchased weird things like corns.. fried fish.. fruits.. a bag of rice??? and almost bought vegetables which she claimed to be superbly fresh/beautiful. fortunately we managed to stop this tragedy of overloading hahaha.





well a fruitful and sinful trip to Bangkok i'd say ;)

meanwhile, last week of break and my projects have yet to be done goodness!!!

im flying to Bangkok tml and will be back most probably on the 19th! the flight will be at 6pm so you may wanna say goodbye to me over my phone or even send me off in your afternoon nap ya? LOL.

just done with the packing. chey~ nothing much to pack what, my sis still nagged at me to pack earlier. being a big procrastinator, i'll usually leave it till the last minute before sorting out what clothes to bring, what necessities to get etc. anw even if i were to pack my stuffs 2days before, there'll still be things that i might miss out zzz.



my phone has auto-roam thus i'll be bringing it over there in case anyone desperately needs to tell me you miss me HAHAHA. okay, seriously for any emergency you can contact me and vice versa :)

award ceremony @ RP.

today is a big day for my sis.
so dragged myself up and be prepared, left to the school at 9plus.
i really dont know what to wear i have no clothes already i wanna shop badly but im flying to bangkok in 2days' time oh this is so hard to resist!!!


arrived early, thus proceeded to the lib to wait for jialu(sis's friend). she's cute and funny. i kept meeting fun people these days :D


without fail, dreadful waiting is inevitable.
fortunately the whole ceremony progress exceptionally speedy, acutally ended half and hour earlier than the stated time :)
sis was proudly standing in front of everyone and i managed to snap one pathetic photo of her on stage because she only posed for like... 5seconds? lol

dont complain about the resolution okay sister! zzz

not that great, not that bad. HAHAHA what a comment.
i love the eclair :)






after our meal, we've nowhere to go.
abruptly, tickets were bought at cwp's Cathay and there we went in for Bolt!


this comedy-adventure movie triggered our laughing nerves and we just cant stop laughing!!! initial thought of it was some kind of Ice Age-liked cartoon, or maybe something even boring. however the characters were god damn adorable especially Rhino the hamster LOL. rating: 7.5/10








when are you coming back des? cos the CIP project has zero progree at all :S

three little ducks went out one day~~~~

yay swimming :)

got out of bed pretty early this morning, met doreen and tania at wdls complex.
had quite a good time there, except the part when we attempted to enter the pool, freezing cold :S

there was a malay uncle, whom we'll notice everytime if we were there for swimming.
why?
because he's actually capable of staying afloat ALL THE TIME with a constant slow speed like a... a submarine. then his head will be the thing that sticks out to check for incoming objects etc. LOL

so this time round, i suggested tania to try engaging a conv with him since he took the intiative to smile at us. ended up im the one who started it off and it was a bad move i'd say. this guy cant stop sharing his stories! zzz. both of them were laughing big time at the corner and left me to face the lonely man.

alright it's funny, fortunately he walked away soon after.






parted with these two busy ladies, made a trip to civic to settle my mom's carpark stuffs. erm no punches this time round, peace peace... HAHA.
my carelessness got myself a listless 45mins wait in return, not gonna elaborate. im sure you wont wanna know how stupid i was either.
travelled straight home and dived directly into my bed, BANG a 3hours nap ;)))

HELLO! some updates to be done.


today headed to Emax @ cineleisure with bros: hy doreen and da ge.
has been sometimes since we last gathered, so back to our routine gossiping ;)


we booked a room, wanted to get the 'small' room but no more vacancy, thus, just get on with their 'big' room. and you know what? WOOOOAAAAAHHHHH. it was surprisingly tiny. they still cheated us by questioning "you want sofa or bean bags?" when the room has none of them?!?!?! (btw we chose bean bags... zzz)

rights, spent over 15minutes to decide on which movie to watch. but still, couldnt reach a decision and this was what we had randomly picked.
generally a movie with solid content, climax was built up in a fast and exciting pace hence it captures your attention most of the time. rating: 8/10



afterwhich, there were still a short while before time's up. and we......

travelled back to wdls, doreen met up with minghao.
YES ming hao! didnt see him since.... sec4? LOL anw he'd changed sooooo drastically. physical appearance wise, taller slimmer and definitely looked better.
exchanged a few words and two of them left for movie. eh hem...

hy left to wait for her sis @ civic, and as requested, acc da ge to marsiling area for TCM(traditional Chinese Medicine) practices. she hurt her back/spine area and it's giving her hell.

initial process: rubbing her back with the aid of oilment.

I SWEAR THE LATTER PART OF IT COMPLETELY FREAKED ME OUT!
the guy, let's call him shi fu, he introduced "cupping" whereby a cupping jar was heated with a stick-on-fire. the sight of flame made my eyes popped out, my jaw dropped down because i've no idea what the hell is he gonna do to poor da ge.

next, it was placed on her back with additonal jars one after another :S
just when i supposed the treatment was coming to an end, shi fu brought another weapon into the picture --- needles!
no doubt it was acupuncture. the agony should be less unbearable than the previous one but for her, it could be the worse of all. simply for the reason that needle is her biggest phobia lol.

well by the end of the misery, she actually felt a lil better than before.
good news la hor, if not you're suffering for nothing HAHA! takecare and have your med on time.






yesterday, out with kl again ;)



our main purpose was to catch a movie that we've either no time to watch or no chance to.
headed to The Cathay @ dhouby ghout. yes besides PS and embarassing enough i thought he was referring to cwp =.=

okay back to it, perhaps we've pinned too high of an expectation on this show(horror wise), it turned out to be oh-i-knew-it-was-gonna-happen and please-fast-forward kind of experience. if you get my drift lol.

half of the time we were commenting(negative ones of cos) on how dumb the officer was when he should have been defensive against the infected girl instead of leaning himself for her to bite, as well as forcing my eyelids to not close with G force.
in conclusion, not scary at all! rating 6.5/10

alright maybe the last part was a lil thrilling. i remember we even laughed real hard somewhere in the middle LOL..
just personal opinion, you can chose to disagree ya.





played photohunt on kl's iTouch, seeing him navigating it was already an amusement. very the cool omg! you can even surf the net with it. didnt dare to lay my hands much on this 300plus gadget.

after movie, we came to Fish&co, an outlet around the area too. likewise my virgin trip to the restaurant.


in conjunction of the festive season, the entire restaurant was decked with white(but not orangey) lightings which looked so much more like a snowy x'mas? haha. great ambience with e presence of a band of two performing on the small stage, not forgetting our seafood platter for two! yummmmmmy but fattening lei LOL.

didnt manage to take picture of our feast due to dim lighting at the position we were seated. however the giantic jar of drink(as in above left) was quite a WOW thing as it was really HUGE.


and we headed home with bloated stomach each. i have to thank you again kl!

the first monday of my holiday, wonderful.
awaken naturally with the warmth of sunshine greeting me.
due to the perfect weather, i knew it was drizzling.
made myself a BREADfast, surf the net like i always do ;)



later in the noon, sis suggested to go cwp as she needed to buy shuttlecock for game with classmates tml.


we strolled around, the whole mall was filled with glowing lightings and beautiful decorations. it brightens up your shopping mood and somehow makes you look forward to x'mas :)

yes, at this instant we've turned into happy lil kids again yay.

anw i still couldnt understand why will we pose with a 'peace' or 'victory' hand sign whenever we are ready in front of cam. since young you know, since young. really search me...





this sat i'll be attending my sis's award ceremony @ RP.
so proud of her la, she's always excelling in her studies ever since secondary school, received numerous academic awards. hmm i got received awards too okay, just that the amount i've achieved to the ratio of hers it's like.... 1:5
hahahahahaahaahhahaa.

btw, my bangkok trip is confirmed. will be leaving on the 16th dec, coming back either on 18th or 19th. that's all for my announcement, wish me good luck and safe trip lol.

YESSSSSAAAAAA!!! commence of my 3weeks study break!!!


friday was really a fatiguing day for me(us), everyone was constantly brooding over the c prog test since 8 in the morning. lessons ended as early as 12pm but our test was scheduled at 5pm ZZZ. so had brunch at fc3 and went to free access lab for MUGGING!


this is when i desperately need a break.

dont be alarmed i didnt go insane and started scribbling on the computer screen, merely used the function(highlighter, marker) in the ppt slides. hmm, quite artistic ya? :)




verony is such a thoughtful girl because she bought the x'mas candy sticks for the whole class as an advance lil gift! okay let's forget about the fact that her mom actually paid for the candies lol.

happy kids upon receiving the candy. thank you Santa Verony!






how could you be so discipline and have constant focus within 4hours of revision?
that's why veron's cam became the root of distraction.

we gathered outside the room with another class, basically everybody dont give a damn anymore cos we were chatting so happily, making a din.
an hour later, all of us exited from the exam hall with relief and excitment because we're FREED!

the paper was alright, frankly i just hope to pass this horrible module and get on with it. not gonna pin too much expectation on scoring... yup.




not only had the agony of mugging ended, it was also the start of holiday!
rest of the class headed to bugis for steamboat to celebrate while handful of us decided to fly home for the warmth of cosy bed. i was simply dog-tired.




sorry my bros, i need a day for recuperation haha. will be meeting up next to no time okay?
