i did put in more effort, but this time round it was a killer paper,
set to kill all of us.

yesterday when i was doing the laundry,
my MNG white tank was stained with red patches!!! and i shall credit my mom for it.
her red batik shorts has been a great colour sponsor,
my sis's white tops and bottoms had died on this design in the past too.
adding on to my agony,
this uninvited ulcer has been staying on my pathetic lips for a good number of days.

i was surprised, because majority of my classmates did something to their physical appearances.
like for example: trimed/cut hair, dyed/highlighted hair, and veron had her braces on :)
starting from this wed, i'll be having my MST(Mid Semester Tests).
and if im not wrong, there'll only be 2 tests for my class.
one on coming wed, the other one friday.
but how come doreen is having a full week of tests?
when we went to mug at RP days before,
doreen seemed to have alot of notes and modules to revise on.
likewise, tania needs to study for her maths, so does jt.
i appeared to be very free,
it is because my course didnt schedule that much tests for us this semester?

in fact, few months later im turning freaking 18!!!
im not a primary school kid, not even a secondary school girl anymore.

sis and i headed down to town in the afternoon.
first stop, the outlet opposite Far East.
you might think that im exaggerating, but the phenomenon was just INSANE!!!
a couple of kilometres away, the sight of women queueing along the perimeter of MNG gave us a
good shock.
we didnt wanna join the craze, and it may take us hours??? to merely get into the boutique,
so we quickly by-passed the magnificent scene and headed to the next stop.
second stop, the outlet at Wisma, inside Isetan.
when the escalator led us to the level, the spectacle wasnt anything better.
due to the spacial constrain of this outlet, all the ladies were so packed together
and moving, or i should say shifting very slowly in their positions.
hahaha
despite that, we still decided to start our WAR there
otherwise good stuffs will be snatched by these siao cha bo very soon. LOL
cannot lose out ma...
spent almost an hour plus shifting??, selecting pretty tops for trying etc.
this doesnt include waiting time in the never ending queue for fitting room hor.
ultimately, i purchased ONLY a vintage white tank top at 35$ after discount.
whereas sis purchased 3 different tops at 79$ in total.
phew, successfully controlled my temptation again :)))
after which, we continued to shop-hop to the last MNG outlet, which was in Taka.
okay, as compared to the previous 2 outlets, this counted as the most peaceful one already...
tho the madness was still there la. haha

we collected our goods and headed to IMM for a bit of shopping!

i controlled myself by purchasing just on one Esprit turquoise cardigan at 24.90$
well done joline :)
the Esprit outlet at IMM has got reasonably cheaper price range as compare to other outlets in town or for instance, cwp.
because most of their stocks over there are so called past season stocks or "left overs",
but definitely in good condition la.
Esprit can really sell their items on a horrifying cost price one you know.
for example, i once eyed on a simple sweet tank top and it came out to cost 50+bucks!~

and i discovered that the staffs at their Cashiers are doing EASY JOB man!
as every single item costs 2S$,
they just need to count how many items you have and multiply by 2($).
for example, if i purchase 6 toothbrushes,

i've watched the news the day before,
and was alarmed to know that there was a murder case at Woodlands cwp's Foodcourt!
the rough descriptions were:
male cleaner asked female cleaner#1 "ni xian zai dao di yao zen yang?!"
female cleaner#1 thought he would leave after a moment, so she didnt give him a reply.
all the while, female cleaner#2 was present at the scene, witnessing the whole case.
then out of a sudden, male cleaner revealed his weapon(knife) and stabbed female cleaner#1 from her back!
subsequently, he conseceutively stabbed her a few more times!!!
er, that's it.
i suggest you guys to watch today's news la, there should be more follow ups of the case.
doubt anyone can understand my above descriptions. LOL

yesterday was the SPA SEA training(they claimed so)
my cliques, only veron and jt went along with me.
doreen couldnt make it at the very last minute, and i think i've guessed correctly for the reason behind.
it's okay doreen, join us next week! :)
everyone gathered at Clementi mrt station, 10am
bused and walked a lil further to reach Poly Marina.
deposited our belongings and report for a short briefing.
we were then divided into 2 groups
as there were quite a number of people, say... 30plus?
did some mass warm up(includes alot alot of pumpings, jumping jets, head+arms+hip+legs rotation)
next, kayaking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
before that, willard led us slowly down the slope and into the water
meaning, submerging ourselves and get wet.
this part was quite funny,
everyone was wearing a life vest(not life jacket), so you'll stay afloat no matter what.
but i've no idea why my legs will automatically float.
it was like, i'll literally appear horizontal on the surface of the water
either facing upwards or downwards.
looked really dumb man :S
proceed on, we kayak-ed for another 4hours(?!)
basically did forward+backward pedalling, J jaw, the big sweep? etc.
here comes the crazy part, CAPSIZE.
we need to practically capsize and train ourselves to handle capsize situations quickly, safely, calmly, and correctly.
1. check for in-coming traffic(any other boats or kayaks around you)
2. check for a 3metre radius around your kayak(sufficient space)
3. check for the depth of the water(to gauge, pedal should be roughly 3/4 in the water)
then........ rock very very hard to the left and right
and CAPSIZE to the side where you hold your pedal parallel to your kayak.
not done yet!
A. when you are upside down in the water, tap the bottom of the kayak 3 times
B. and come out to the surface from the side where you hold your pedal
C. raise your pedal high up and shout "help", "safe me"
of cos, in the event of a real capsize
you need not have to tap 3 times as that's only for training purposes
and you wont have time for that.
in fact, you might not even remember that step. lol
most importantly, never leave your kayak and lose your pedal.
wah.... i describe till very pro right?
when it was my turn, disaster man.
everything else was fine until the moment i, together with my kayak, we overturned.
the sea water instantly gushed into my nostrils you know!
but then i wanna show off and do the 3 taps nicely, so i bear with it
in the end, i frantically cum haggardly swim out of the water
not to even mention about my pedal, it was drifted far far away already............
hahahahahahahahaha
latterly, the LAND training.
wth, we were half dead from the water they now ask us to do fitness.
fine...
in summation, moved the very heavy kayak to and fro for alot of times.
running running and running.
and also majority of what we've done previously during mass warm up.
we became undescribably filthy.
having to lie on the grass patches while sweating profusely,
having to lie on sands(playground) while we were completely drenched,
resulted to it.
sounds scary isnt it?
however, at the end of the day, it'll mould you into a better person
IF what you wanna achieve are discipline, team spirit, perserverance, fitness and health.
you might think im pervert, cos im actually deciding to attend the next session.

FYI, they didnt inform us that there wasnt any lunch breaks
so we virtually starved from 10am till 8pm.
in conclusion, a tough but enjoyable day.
after which, they were heading for meal at Clementi area,
veron and i travelled home instead cos she vomitted out of a sudden,
and my mom rang and yelled at me. LOL

accompanied doreen to Sports link and she got her sports shoe for FREE.

first thing first, i need to withdraw some cash,
but the ATM wasnt able to dispend $$$ for me.
so we walked all the way back to Orchard mrt station and back to Far East =.=
coincidentally met royston there :)
er, maybe not completely a coincidence cos he mentioned that he'll be there today.
he's working at Fresh Box for the whole of this week,
in fact, he has been working since poly started or way before that.
that explains how lethargic he appears everyday in school
tsk tsk.. filial son.
we roamed in and out of his boutique for quite some time
as binuan wanted to purchase some tops for her boy.
she even requested royston to put on the shirt for better view. lol
meanwhile, a real coincidence to see zheng hang.
binuan pulled him into the boutique where royston was,
not knowing that his girl was around too :O
after which, zheng hang left to find his girl already.
well well... a lil misunderstanding.
before all these took place, both of us had our brunch at Gelare!
that's right! today is TUESDAY! half price for their waffles, HOHOas usual, i ordered my favourite chocolate chip waffle+cookies&cream ice cream
desserts and sweet delicacies are the most alluring temptation that i could never resist.

later part of our shopping, we headed to Wisma's Topshop, Forever21, Sasa etc
i parted with binuan at orchard and met up with sis at Amk Hub.she had her bonding session with her boy's family, HAHA
continued window shopping and finally travelled back to cwp.
we hurried into Metro(as it'll be closing in 30mins time) for my desired side carry
and purchased it after much consideration :)
in some way, i felt that shopping, at this moment, is a sin.
taking the Sichuan earthquake incident into consideration.
they are still hopelessly trying to recover from the trauma,
and we are here happily spending money for goodness sake.
time for reflection......
so from tml onwards, i'll buy my NEEDS and not WANTS :)

it was held in my secondary school, RSS last friday?
see, i wasnt even sure of the date and venue =.=
i got to know the existence of this farewell through doreen,
who wasnt sure about the details as well.
for the benefit of those who dont know,
our batch of netball girl's farewell supposedly should be held last year, after our O levels.
due to some complication, it was postponed to the December?
subsequently further postponed to this year's Feb?
well, apparently February was a past tense already and i've almost clean forgotten about it.
okay, perhaps we've pinned too much hope into the farewell that our juniors and sec school might give us.
is it because we've done so much for our seniors' farewell party and that caused us to expect the same from our juniors?
or is it because we just wanna be acknowledged by them?
searched me.
at this point of time,
should there be any farewell organize specially for us again(i doubt so),
it has lost its initial purpose.
but of course, for those who really wanted to plan us a good farewell,
i appreciate it :)
on a lighter note, i presume doreen had been very busy and confused this afternoon.
reason being,
she texted at least 3 times to inform me about the change of date for queensway outing,
as well as to confirm with me the actual date.
LOL
till now, i still do not know whether is it on coming wed or what.
